Hello, my name is Onelia. I am from Asturias, which is a small region in the north of Spain.

My teaching journey started twelve years ago giving Spanish lessons to Erasmus students in Valencia (Spain) from different parts of the world.

My love of sharing my traditions and language and learning more about other cultures made me change my career towards education, and therefore I moved to England.

With a diploma in Montessori Early Years, I have worked at Oxford for six years teaching Spanish and following the Montessori philosophy.

Concurring the school year with art workshops in Spanish for children and parents.

In 2020 I achieved the qualification in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language, at ELE International. The distance classes allowed several students to obtain the DELE B1-B2-C1 certificate at the Cervantes Institute in London.

Now, just arrived in Newcastle, I am sure that I will have a lot of fun on this new journey, and I hope that my students feel the passion and love for this wonderful language.
